High standards in the competition were repeated this year at the Area Finals held at Tiffin Girls’ School on Thursday 30th April.

The judges had a difficult task to decide which team out of the eight area finalists took the prizes.

Team Proteus St Pauls School Barnes through to regional finals

Originality and inventiveness were definitely the order of the day, with products ranging from software app development to the decorative use of recycled bottles.

It was interesting to see how adept the contestants are at developing websites: the judge’s comment was that the offerings in the competition would put many a commercial design company to shame!

So congratulations and good luck to Team Alpha from Southborough High School and Team Proteus from St Paul’s School, who were “Overall Winner” and “Runner- up”, respectively and go through to the South London Area Finals to be held at Croydon Conference Centre on Friday 8th May 2015.
